Visitor Show Etiquette

It is very important that visitors behave responsibly. Loud noises upset everybody, including the cats; children must be kept under control. Fingers, toys, feathers or anything else should never be placed in or near cat cages. Judging rings are reserved for judging and exhibitors' cats only, however, visitors are welcome to view the cats in the benching areas and the judging from the seating areas in front of the ring. Our exhibitors will be delighted to chat to you about their breeds so you can learn a little more about the from those in the know. 

• Always ask permission before petting a cat
• Do not attempt to offer any cat a cat treat or any form of food, unless permission is given by the owner
• A human carrying a cat  has the right of way
• Never open or stick your fingers or hands into cages/sturdis
• Ask permission to photograph a cat, some might react badly to flashes from cameras or phones
• If you hear "cat loose" please stand still, do not try to catch or touch the cat. If you see the cat, raise your hand to alert the owner. Once the "cat caught" call is made, you can resume walking through the show.
• Only exhibitors are allowed into the judging rings. Please stay in the area where the chairs are set for you to watch the rings.
• Most of all, Enjoy the Show!
